Abstract

This study examines “Psychic Violent Crimes and Women's Neglect as Human Rights Violations” with the aim of finding forms of action that can trigger psychological violence against women in the household, secondly to analyze women's opinions about psychological violence as a criminal act in household. and third, to determine the application of the principle of causality or cause and effect in criminal acts of psychological violence and neglect of women in the household.

The research method used was Emperis Law with a statutory approach and was supported by quantitative data.

The findings of this study are that physical, psychological, sexual, and neglect of women in the household (KDRT) must be prevented and eliminated. Therefore it is time to formulate a Law on the Elimination of Domestic Violence which is regulated comprehensively, clearly, and decisively to protect and side with the victims, as well as to provide education and awareness to the public and officials that all acts of violence and neglect in the household constitutes a violation of human rights and a crime against human dignity
